Volunteer with us

Volunteer

Volunteers are recruited as the charity grows. To become a volunteer you will need to undergo training and familiarise yourself with our policies. All our volunteers enter into a series of undertakings to comply with our rules, which have been agreed with the Prison Service. Volunteers must also undergo reference checks and other vetting.

*Please note that the next training sessions for new volunteers will be held in 2022. Our current training sessions are full.*

If you would like to volunteer as a penfriend with us, please read our volunteer FAQs before filling in the form below. Only applications via the form below will be considered. Our team will be in touch as new opportunities arise. Please do not send us follow up enquiries, as it creates extra work for our very small team of volunteers and staff.
